On the weekend of July 23, 2006 was this year's annual Corvette Big Bear Bash, which we normally attend if possible (see pics from last year).  However, this year it just happened to coincide with The Rim of the World cruise - an annual cruise up to Big Bear put on by the F-Body guys, and in the past couple of years joined by the GTO gang.  So....this year I thought we'd do something different.  Instead of just me and one other family member going in the Corvette, why don't we ALL go up in the GTO and then afterwards stay and play with my Corvette buddies?  So that's just what we did, cruised up with the F-Body and GTO guys and then stayed the weekend and hung out with a few of my Corvette friends.  Even though thunderstorms ruled the weekend, we had a great time!
